Tanya Kachan was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Raised in a modern Jewish home, her traditions and values were instilled in her at an early age. She attended Sinai Akiba Academy during her elementary and middle school years, and continued her high school education at Beverly Hills High School.
Tanya had always been inspired by her grandmother’s longtime membership and involvement with Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America. Motivated to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps, she contributed her assistance during their bi-annual events until she moved to La Jolla to attend the University of California, San Diego. After graduating with her B.A. in Communications, Tanya moved back to Los Angeles and landed a job at a top Hollywood public relations firm.
Through her many experiences, she was able to develop strong relationships with contacts, and successfully placed her clients in top publications nationwide. Tanya brings invaluable creativity and perspective to Kol Ahava, and is the artist behind the incredible and unique themes of our events.
