Vice President of Sponsorships and Philanthropy
David Damavandi was born and raised in Los Angeles. After completing high school at Palisades High, he earned his bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Upon graduating, David co-founded Onyx Distribution, a private import and distribution company with offices in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. David holds certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) for sports training and is also a former U.S champion martial artist. Aside, from his career and hobbies, David has been extremely active in the philanthropic community as he is on the board of many charity organization and an active community service participant in Los Angeles. David has also served over 3,000+ hours abroad with internationally renowned organizations such as Magen David Adom in Israel working as an emergency first responder and also with International Service Learning (ISL) in Central America and Africa working to provide free health care to under-privileged communities.
David is driven to help those who are not in a position to help themselves and believes that it is every individuals duty to help those that are less fortunate than themselves. David’s incredible resume along with his many community/media relationships continues to help in securing corporate sponsorships and making Kol Ahava a nationally known organization.
